Anticipating Photokina 2012 Nikon has released the Nikon 1 J2 compact system camera that is an incremental revolution of its Nikon 1 J series. It is based in the Nikon 1 J1 compact system camera with improvements in the back screen that has seen an increased resolution and addition of art filters seen usually in the Nikon Coolpix series.

Due to increased competition in the compact system cameras Nikon offers now the Nikon 1 J2 for about 100 EUR less when compared to original price of the Nikon 1 J1 at time of its release.

No replacement yet for the V1 only the Nikon 1 J2 released so far

As for a replacement of the Nikon 1 V1 series there are still no news but we will post information once available.
